EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Computer Science, IT networking or related field.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3 years of consultative sales experience with software-based products and IT services
- Minimum of 1 year experience leading direct report team and influencing others without direct authority is preferred
- Strong financial competence
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Prior experience in consultative sales driving overall portfolio strategy and leading successful teams
- Outstanding attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office, SFDC, Cognos, Baan and SAP and Experience with IT and software-based products a plus
- Strong collaborator and experience in driving prioritization for initiatives that will have maximum impact
- Experience working in environments with cross functional and/or Matrix teams
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to travel overnight up to 50% of time

Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive pipeline and sales funnel for Connected Solutions portfolio by communicating the unique value proposition to customers.
- Support and align with cross-functional groups including commercial, service and business units to drive sales and service results.
- Effectively communicate and demonstrate the Connected Solutions product presentations as required.
- Be a strong operational partner by driving accurate inputs into demand planning to deliver outstanding customer experience.
- Provide market insight and feedback to commercial programs and processes across our target growth areas for Connected Solutions products and services.
- Serve as a single point of contact for strategic customers for day-to-day management.
- Support Quality system and policies to track as needed investigation and actions.
- Serve as resource of technical product knowledge for Connected Solutions as required.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of entire Thermo Fisher Scientific LPD portfolio in order to effectively demonstrate unique value propositions
