SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Lead or act as Finance expert on special projects, which will require collaboration in reviewing current work processes and fostering innovation in business process redesign, performance management and other operational areas to increase organizational capacity and ensure the long-term sustainability of the change initiative.
- Effectively collaborate and liase with other members of the Finance team and other relevant lines of business to ensure achievement of the overall strategy.
- Collaborate with the different finance global process owners to setup key performance indicators (KPI’s) and service performance metrics for the team and publish the metrics to internal stakeholders. Conduct regular reviews and ensure that service qualities and KPIs are met or exceeded for each process area.
- Evaluate and define interaction model, governance structure to ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Primary contact for setup and transitioning services into Finance Business Services, including the establishment of transition readiness, and accountable for transitioning new scope into Service Delivery.
- Key decision maker and end point for all Service Delivery Finance escalations - service, operational and major process/scope changes.
- Direct and manage the day-to-day operations and enhancements to the Expense Management system and processes. Review and approve On-Behalf-Of roles for employees assigned to prepare expense reports for employees.
- Provide support and advise and guidance to Expense Management processing and impact to the Lines of Businesses.
- Maintain a focus on Expense Management projects and oversee implementation through empowering a highly functioning team.
- Oversee the Corporate Credit Carde and approval system, which includes directing and monitoring of the approval, modification, credit limits and cancellation of corporate cards through our vendor’s system. This includes the review and approval of new and change corporate credit cards as delegated by the Senior Vice President Finance.
- Prepare the annual reports to the Audit Finance Committee on senior management business expenses consistent with the Policy on Employee Business Expenses and the AFC mandate. Manage and coordinate internal audit process, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness, responding and escalating issues to senior management as appropriate.
