QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in business administration or commercial studies specializing in project controlling
  • Several years of work experience in an international company
  • Affinity with numbers, complex thinking and teamwork skills
  • Strong communication and integration skills, confidence
  • Structured and independent working style and flexibility
  • Experience with SAP Business By Design or a comparable ERP system
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, calculate and document bid proposals, change requests and contract addenda offers in accordance with existing guidelines
  • Provide support in commercial issues for the drafting of contracts and their negotiation with consortium partners and customers during contract preparation and project implementation throughout the entire project duration
  • Commercial management of bid proposals and projects
  • Close coordination with technical project managers and the specialist departments, in particular Engineering, Site Services, Procurement and Expediting, to ensure the best possible execution and economic success of projects
  • Ensure correct and timely booking of allocated working hours and monitor budget compliance
  • Ensure timely updates of monthly project reports on deadlines, revenue, costs and cash, identify and explain deviations, adjust forecasts and medium-term plans (HGB & IFRS)
  • Active risk management and support for the management of contract addenda, early detection of impending budget deviations for all key figures and risks and development of countermeasures together with the technical project manager
  • Proactive communication of significant budget deviations, project changes, possible claims and project execution conflicts to the technical project manager and department and division managers
  • Prepare invoices and payment requests, monitor incoming payments, arrange prompt and active payment reminders
  • Ensure correct registration and timely payment of invoices
  • Monitor the expiration dates of bank guarantees and letters of credit (L/C) in collaboration with the Treasury department
  • Manage project-related insurance policies and necessary accompanying documents, especially for exports/imports, in coordination with the Legal Services department
