REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of tried experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a scientific or manufacturing environment
  • Extensive understanding of effective procurement strategies, negotiation of contracts, and management of suppliers
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and systems. ERP experience is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated capability in effectively guiding and fostering a team that consistently achieves exceptional results.

Responsibilities:

  • Settle purchasing needs and develop procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery of goods and services
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and assess potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Implement and maintain purchasing policies and procedures, ensuring strict adherence to ethical standards and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor market trends and perform market analysis to drive continuous improvement and identify new opportunities
  • Streamline purchasing processes, identify inefficiencies, and successfully conduct innovative solutions to enhance productivity
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and ensure timely resolution of any issues.
  • Lead and supervise the procurement team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive individual and team success
  • Run and evaluate supplier performance.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with other teams.
