Description:

Your tasks
In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and control all quality management activities to meet budget and quality targets (e.g. minimize customer complaints, scrap and waste, secure auditing targets, etc.). Furthermore, the Head of Quality initiates and implements action plans to continuously improve all quality-relevant processes on the production floor.
Job Duties
Manage and coordinate all quality management activities for the plant/operations unit
Contribute to strategic and operative planning of the plant/operations unit
Ensure the achievement of quality targets according to internal and external customer expectations
Ensure implementation of and compliance to external (e.g 9001 or customer audits) and internal quality standards (e.g. CT quality system, equipment, tools, KPIs, etc.)
Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, assessments, and preparation of management reviews, this includes regular internal assessments based on the mandatory elements of quality management guidelines
Ensure operation of in-process quality assurance according to the production control plan, production planning, and standards in close cooperation with the production function of the plant/operations unit
Ensure quality performance (KPI) monitoring and reporting (e.g. regarding scrap, waste, customer complaints, etc.) in cooperation with plant controlling and production
Initiate and control measures to improve quality performance
Ensure local implementation of central quality standards
Your profile
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
7+ years of professional experience in various quality management functions
3 or more years in a leadership position with responsibility for other individuals
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in rubber and plastic production processes
Six Sigma certification
Certified in ISO 9001 auditor
