MANAGER, RBS ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL STRATEGY (DECARBONISATION & GOVERNANCE)

Responsibilities:
- Supporting and driving the RBS residential decarbonisation strategy to FY30, ensuring initiatives remain on track and in line with public commitments.
- Tracking/monitoring and reporting on emissions reductions, and ensuring activities are in place to meet commitments.
- Developing the forward-looking plan/strategy to inform the roadmap of decarbonisation initiatives for RBS.
- Taking ownership of work streams/ projects end to end, and independently managing deliverables.
- Working closely with other strategy, business development, product, and delivery teams across Group and RBS to ensure there is alignment to the E&S strategy & policies, keeping abreast of their strategic agenda and interdependencies.
- Identifying roadblocks or dependencies, which could impact specific work stream / projects and resolve/ escalate to your manager as required.
- Engaging with third party organisations and industry bodies on E&S decarbonisation strategy
- Analysing information and presenting it clearly and concisely for stakeholders to understand and make informed decisions.
- Contributing to formal papers for both the CBA Board and Retail Leadership Team, including regular E&S strategy progress reporting.
