Description:

The Regulatory & Compliance Manager is responsible for providing regulatory and security support and leadership to Inmar’s returns facilities in all areas where any governmental agency may interact with CPG or RX returns business or respective clients.
This role entails completing comprehensive regulatory compliance audits for assigned facilities as well as direct support for client regulatory audits and requires industry knowledge of the regulations that impact the business in areas such as DOT, FDA, EPA, OSHA, USDA, as well as the applicable state regulations. The role also requires the Manager to maintain vigilant oversight of assigned facilities to monitor, detect, assess and correct any security gaps to protect the facilities against internal and external threats.
This position is hybrid based out of the Arlington, TX facility and requires 50-70% travel.
Primary Accountabilities:

Operational (60%)

  • Execute the regulatory compliance audit program by performing process reviews, conducting internal audits, developing and implementing corrective action plans in collaboration with operations management, and preparing audit reports.
  • Supervise operations during government inspections and support violation mitigation activities.
  • Assist with the security oversight of all PLC facilities by regularly evaluating the design of the physical security systems, implementing security policies and procedures, conducting security inspections, interviews and investigations as necessary, ensuring building and property access processes are enforced and that security monitoring processes are consistently followed and documented.
  • Review and evaluate inventory control records and activities and operational practices to protect against loss and diversion.

Leadership (10%)

  • Responsible for regulatory compliance preparation and support for client regulatory audits.
  • Ensure facilities are adequately prepared, trained and execute in accordance with client SOP specific to regulatory functions.
  • Provide onsite support in the facilities for client audits and visits.

Strategic (30%)

  • Develop relationships with inspecting regulatory agencies such as PHMSA (DOT), DEA, EPA, BOP, FDA/USDA, OSHA, etc.
  • Foster relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services to ensure adequate knowledge and understanding of our business.

Required Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5-7 years of related work experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities/essential functions of the position
  • CHMP (Certified Hazardous Material Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Material Manager) preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite of products
  • 50-70% travel required
