Job Summary:
Collaborates in the development and implementation of research processes and systems and provides management of information essential to delivering research excellence, both operationally and strategically.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree In Business Administration, Health Information Management, Administration/Management, Marketing/Communications, Information Technology or related field and four (4) years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of electronic resource administration concepts and practices. Analytical and organizational skills. Verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills. Skill in the use of computers and related software applications. Ability to establish and maintain an institutional repository identifying funding opportunities. Ability to develop and conduct training. Ability to interact with a wide range of internal and external constituencies. Ability to research and identify funding opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Provides context-specific research information and research administration management expertise to key institutional stakeholders to promote optimal research administration outcomes.
- Serves as a liaison with internal and external constituencies and agencies to enable a streamlined approach to the management of research information
- Maintains website with links to provide administrative information
- Such as research projects, research publications, external research-related publications, federal and non-federal agencies affiliations, and relationships that support research goals.
- Establishes and maintains an institutional repository identifying funding opportunities to increase and diversify revenue streams. Disseminates information on funding sources and programs, agency policies, and other research-related topics.
- Coordinates and conducts training sessions for researchers across campus to explain office services and process support systems.
- Facilitates excellence in research by identifying and establishing best practices in research management and electronic research administration.
