JOB SUMMARY

As part for the Revenue Management Field Support Team, the primary responsibility of this role will be on overseeing ERS attributes. The role is responsible for:

  • Providing both strategic and technical guidance to ERS hotels requesting inventory changes.
  • Analyzing and providing recommendations on optimizing ERS attributes to enhance the display of key selling features and monetize attributes.
  • Providing discipline expertise to support revenue management associates in the development and execution of revenue management strategies.
  • Supporting global and regional projects and initiatives as delegated by the Director of Revenue Management Field Support.

Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, strategic thinking, strong work ethic, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.

This individual will focus on the following project types:

  • Deployment projects: Leading the planning and execution of deployment projects (e.g. rollout of new capabilities to all hotels) including change management communications
  • Strategic projects: Leading the planning, problem solving, research, and analyses to develop recommendations (e.g. business cases) for key business issues

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major.
  • Min 12 months of Revenue Management working experience.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Prior project management experiences would be advantageous
  • Strong change management skills including ability to communicate changes clearly and persuasively, anticipate issues that may arise and strategically involve and influence senior leaders to motivate change
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, English fluency is a must.
  • Excellent presentation skills with strong ability to influence audience.
  • Good knowledge in both the technical and strategic processes (budgeting, pricing, etc) of Revenue Management.
  • Delivers results and demonstrates balanced judgment under pressure; engages in fixing the problem vs. just identifying the problem.
  • Demonstrated ability to take large volumes of complex information and present it in a clear and concise manner.
  • Able to translate business needs into actions; ensures that all work is completed effectively; solves problems and monitors the progress of work against schedules and budgets; maintains high performance standards.
