Description:

Are you interested in being part of the team that will help build the visitor experience of the future Founders’ Memorial (FM); of telling the story of how Singapore came to be through multi-sensory, emotive and immersive experiences?
Come help us create meaningful human-centred visitor experiences at the first integrated museum gallery and gardens experience in Singapore and beyond its walls!
As a Digital Strategy and Services Manager / Senior Manager, you will be challenged to leverage the potential of Digital to create transformative, accessible and engaging experiences for various audiences of the Founders’ Memorial. You will be part of the Education, Interpretation and Digital team and will work closely with the other teams on this journey!

Responsibilities:

  • Working collaboratively with the Curatorial, Exhibitions and Partnerships teams to develop a digital strategy that presents a seamless visitor experience of FM, supports FM’s brand and provides opportunities for audiences to engage with FM. This includes identifying digital opportunities and coordinating digital requirements across the various teams.
  • Developing the digital experience for FM – such as special exhibitions and website – and that will provide an integrated indoor-outdoor experience of FM.
  • Working closely with the Content Strategy officer on the digital content strategy and technical requirements for the new FM website.
  • Collaborating with the Curatorial and Exhibitions teams to develop the digital experience brief (comprising the technical requirements, desired user experience and suitable digital interventions) for exhibitions.
  • Engaging suitable digital partners / vendors.
  • Project managing the setup of the digital experience, including budgeting, user testing and associated security testing.
  • Working closely with the Curatorial and Exhibitions team to develop the feedback mechanism / data collection to track visitors’ responses to the exhibition content and experience. This includes liaising with appointed vendor and analysing the data collected.
  • Working with the National Heritage Board (NHB)’s Information Technology Division (ITD) to ensure alignment of the proposed digital solutions with the prevailing IT guidelines. This includes coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that the plans are executing according to timeline, ensuring critical issues are captured and resolved to enhance overall user experience and managing post project follow through such as data analysis of results against agreed outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • Good project management, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Experience in digital media design – including content strategy, art direction, UX/ UI design, wireframing – and developing digital experiences for exhibition will be advantageous.
  • Preferably at least 3 years’ experience in digital strategy and implementation, in the areas of exhibitions, programmes and visitor experience.
  • Able to work well in a team and independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to interact with diverse stakeholders and partners.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Basic knowledge of web and frontend technologies, familiarity with the use of platforms such as Matterport 3D and immersive technologies such as AR/VR/MR tools is advantageous.
