THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Manager/ Senior Manager within the Infrastructure Advisory team based in our Singapore office with a passion for infrastructure projects covering digital, sustainability, transport, energy and utilities.
Our diverse team has advised on some of our largest and most complex infrastructure projects and asset management contracts working side by side with governments and the private sector to provide impactful advice. We work on some of the largest infrastructure projects in the ASEAN region and contribute across the infrastructure lifecycle - including policy development and strategy, business case, economic analysis, financial and commercial analysis, taking transactions to market and supporting transaction evaluation, negotiation, execution and contract management.

Responsibilities:

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be part of the Infrastructure Advisory team working across the ASEAN region to advise clients on delivery, commercial, risk, procurement, strategic and public-private partnerships issues for large-scale infrastructure projects and programmes
  • Develop clear, well written and easy to understand reports and presentations to assist our clients in understanding complex problems
  • Support the delivery of feasibility studies for government, donor agencies and private sector clients
  • Manage assignments by ensuring that work products and services are client focused, clear, accurate and well presented
  • Work within a partnering environment, form effective working relationships and make a positive outcome to the investment programme/sub-programmes
  • Manage, support, and develop a team
  • Interacting with client and consultants on a daily-basis
  • Support the leadership team in business development activities including the development of proposals and presentations
  • Building relationships with clients and other industry professionals
  • Participate actively in the building of the ASEAN Strategy and Transactions Practice

TO QUALIFY FOR THE ROLE YOU MUST HAVE

  • A Bachelor’s degree (a Master’s degree will be an advantage) in either engineering, asset management, science, project management, quantity surveying or construction
  • Minimum of 5 years (Manager Level)/ 10 years (Senior Manager level) of work experience in consulting or engineering
  • Chartered Professional for Senior Manager level (e.g. Chartered Engineering, Asset Management)
  • Experience in one of the following industries/sectors transport, energy, utilities, oil & gas, process and manufacturing industries, and renewables
  • An interest, passion or experience in the infrastructure sector and sustainability
  • Experience of working in project and programme management, asset management, engineering / design management, developing procurement strategies and commercial models, contract management, stakeholder management, risk & value management
  • Good knowledge and application of project management / project delivery techniques including scheduling, management of risks, issues and opportunities, value management, design management, quality, sustainability, environmental, construction management
  • Good understanding project delivery covering feasibility, design, procurement, construction and handover
  • Diligent and has a strong drive to excel professionally with a drive and enthusiasm to learn and be involved in new areas/initiatives
  • Ability to develop good client relationships and strong Stakeholder management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a high performing team
  • Strong project management skills and commitment to the delivery good quality work
  • Ability to write reports, develop presentations and communicate clearly
  • Contractually aware would be advantageous
  • Ability to travel to client locations within Singapore or outside as necessary
