Role: The Manager, Software Development reports to the Director, Core Insurance responsible for the day-to-day management of the Development teams for the Design product. He or she is involved in various projects and focuses on developing the team members’ skills through coaching and continuous learning.
Equisoft / Design is a powerful configuration and release management tool built for cost-effective implementations. Our tool helps carriers to accelerate product development, speed-to-market, reduce configuration errors, improves quality through debugging and functional testing capabilities. Our release management capabilities provide insurance companies with a platform for managing the release process, including version control, testing and deployment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology or College Diploma
• At least 8 years of Software Development experience, and at least 3 years in a manager role
• Passion for software development in an Agile environment
• Excellent knowledge of English and Spanish (spoken and written)
• Ability to make quick and smart decisions under pressure
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Natural charisma and leadership, team player
• Rigor and meticulousness
• Good communicator, versatile and autonomous
• Basic understanding of the insurance and wealth management industries is an asset
