The Digital Solutions Division, a division of Tyler Technologies, Payment Solutions team offers a comprehensive suite of payment processing solutions built and deployed exclusively for government. We are seeking a motivated Software Engineering Manager to join the Payments Platform Team.
The Manager of Payments Platform oversees development and delivery of key components of cross-team unified solutions as the basis of our “Payments Platform”. You will be responsible for coordinating design and development of innovative software solutions to support ambitious, impactful business goals, providing coordination and oversight to the engineering team, facilitating technical decisions, cross-team project collaboration, and continuously refining development practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related scientific, technical or business discipline.
• Minimum of five years job related experience.
• Demonstrated management abilities and effective group facilitation skills.
• Experience managing, mentoring, and recruiting team members.
• Experience developing roadmaps and plans for an engineering team, and coordinating planning and collaborating with product, design, and other engineering groups.
• Ability to take ownership of a product, service or major feature or component and be responsible for its on-time delivery and continued success.
• Professionalism - Ability to ethically communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Soft skills to represent the organization clearly and accurately.

• Coach and guide engineers, and testers, in expanding their skills and developing their careers.
