CONNECT TO YOUR SKILLS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

You must have an aptitude and ambition to be a successful member of our consulting team working in digital transformation, application design and implementation, or process design and implementation. We seek independent thinkers who also thrive as part of a team, with excellent communication and presentation skills and who are enthusiastic and passionate for driving change and real impact in the Insurance industry.
As a solution architect, you will be technically minded and relish analysing the detail of complex problems to identify and deliver technical solutions, but also enjoy challenging yourself to work in new Insurance fields contributing to market facing propositions, client engagements and internal initiatives.

Essential Experience:

• You are experienced designing enterprise solutions on public cloud infrastructure using cloud-native technologies and open source frameworks
• You have deep knowledge of modern design patterns, standards, and architectures (e.g., Microservices, Event-Driven) and apply this to solve common problems when secure, performant solutions
• You have deep knowledge in areas that include Policy Administration Systems, Underwriting Workbench, Life and Pensions, Personal Lines, Commercial Insurance, or London Markets
• You have hands-on experience architecting solutions that integrate with core financial services systems (e.g. Policy Administration Systems, Core Banking Systems)
• You have demonstrable experience conducting architecture reviews and assessments
• You are experienced facilitating the delivery of agile project

Desirable

• You are Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), AWS, GCP or Azure architect certified
• Have experience architecting Salesforce solutions

• You collaborate with technical and non-technical peers to understand business needs and strategy
• You identify and evaluate emerging technologies, trends and practices, serving as an expert within the insurance industry
• You design enterprise-level solutions across all technology domains (e.g. networking, infrastructure, application) that meet functional and non-functional requirements
• You create and maintain architecture artifacts and technical documentation, using these to audit decision making, and support development and operate teams
• You define and influence architecture principles, standards and guardrails using specialist knowledge
• You facilitate and run architecture reviews and key governance forums
• You provide technical leadership to development teams, supporting the full software development lifecycle
• You work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
