Description:

A unique and exciting opportunity exists for a Manager, Solution Delivery to directly lead and manage projects and provide technical leadership as a senior supplier of technical resources to projects to ensure the successful, solution design, planning, management, implementation and transition to operations of projects delivered by the Digital Health and Technology department. The Manager, Solution Delivery reports to the Manager Information Technology Services.
Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south to Gympie in the north.

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate, prioritise and manage scheduling for the allocation Solution Delivery team resources across multiple, concurrent projects/engagements to meet deadlines and achieve desired outcomes, identifying resourcing risks, issues and appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Provide high level ICT technical knowledge and expertise, actively leading specialist technical resources in the delivery of complex technical solutions in a healthcare environment.
  • Accountable for the deliverables from the Solution Delivery team ensuring delivery within time, scope and budget tolerances and where necessary, liaise and negotiate with relevant stakeholders regarding any variance.
  • Develop, document and review technical designs and specifications appropriate to enabling the implementation of solutions.
    Remuneration value up to $161 718 p.a., comprising salary between $132,072 - $141,738 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO7). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
