DCCEEW’s Nature Markets and Offsets Division is currently seeking to appoint a Manager, Stewardship Support Program.
The Manager, Stewardship Support Program leads a high-performing, geographically dispersed team of ecologists to deliver an innovative biodiversity assessment program.
The team delivers high level analysis and technical reports, including Biodiversity Stewardship Site Assessment Reports, and provides timely and detailed specialist advice to support the creation of credits under the biodiversity offsets scheme.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience.

Responsibilities:
- leading geographically dispersed fieldwork teams while playing a key role in the coordinated delivery of state-wide programs
- working closely with landholders and developing and maintaining a high-level awareness of stakeholder needs and expectations
- making strategic decisions to support delivery of biodiversity assessments in a fast-paced environment
