We are looking for a Manager, Strategic Initiatives to join Element Fleet Management. As the largest pure-play fleet manager in the world, we provide unmatched products and services and solutions to our clients.

Reporting to the Director, Strategic Planning, you will partner closely across Element’s operations portfolio to support strategic planning, measure progress to plan, support team alignment and identification of shared priorities to bring focus to acting. Further, this role will take on high priority US/CA COO-sponsored initiatives to improve operational performance and capabilities, further strategic partnerships, and establish new programs to deliver on revenue, operational and customer experience objectives. This role is in office weekly T, W, Th in our Mississauga ON or Hopkins, MN office.

A Day in the Life

  • Plan, coordinate and facilitate senior operational governance rhythms, including annual strategic planning and goal setting, quarterly reviews, monthly results cadences, and weekly updates to deliver insights and support future forecasts; identify trends, risk and opportunities and partner with key stakeholder to address potential needs and guide leadership on needs and recommendations
  • Lead targeted strategic initiatives as prioritized by executive management, partnering with business leaders to develop project goals and scope, design support models and operational tactics to deliver or launch program
  • Support revenue & pricing optimization strategies & support
  • Support ad-hoc leadership requests
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, handling inquiries and developing action plans to address them

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master of Business Administration or similar field is a plus )
  • Strong knowledge of business, finance, and analytics
  • 5+ years in financial services related industry or in consulting preferred
  • Preferred experience working within a Balanced Scorecard framework
  • Proven ability to break down complex problems, leveraging data to make informed recommendations to unlock operational strategies; leverages data to make informed, rapid decisions
  • Strong, clear communication skills in support of executive engagement, content development and communications across key stakeholders within the business and drive consistent alignment across functions and regions
  • Able to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with strong program and project management skills to keep teams organized and on track to committed deliverables
  • Strong ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally and influence key decision makers
