This pivotal role involves supporting all divisions by conducting supplier governance and risk management activities through consistent, transparent and auditable processes. Our Supplier Governance Support (SGS) team is dedicated to maintaining compliance with supplier governance and risk across a broad spectrum of stakeholders within the group. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in supplier governance and risk management, demonstrating a proven track record of success in this field.

KEY ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Govern and facilitate Material and Major supplier Governance activities.
• Manage, monitor and drive supplier compliance and governance to assure risk controls and issues.
• Work collaboratively in a team of Governance Managers and Governance Associates.
• Deliver governance expertise, execute essential activities and establish influential relationships with key business stakeholders.
• Champion and embed supplier governance across the Group, while driving continuous improvement.
• Lead regulatory and policy change initiatives.
• Develop, enhance and maintain reporting on Westpac’s supplier risk and governance environment.
• Provide support and governance over end-to-end supplier governance activities ensuring Regulatory and Group Policy compliance.
• Ensure quality assurance for Material and Major outsourcing suppliers.
