What you’ll do…
Supply Chain at Sam’s Club is all about delivering plans that help provide our members with the products they want, where they want them, at the best price possible. To accomplish this, associates must think critically and create efficiencies, using data and experience to overcome complex challenges. WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 4+ years of experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, supply chain management or related area.
  • A collaborative approach to problem-solving with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
  • Power BI, Excel, Tableau experience helpful
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes and relevant legal regulations
  • Operational brokerage skillset
  • Understanding of EBITA
  • Project management skills and experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS…

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 2 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area. 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage the operational aspects of our supply chain strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential improvements in the supply chain process
  • Monitor supply chain operations to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Create strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations
  • Lead and direct strategic supply chain initiatives and projects
  • Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints related to the supply chain processes
