What you will do:

In this role, you oversees the collection of relevant data from a variety of sources, including CRM and SAP systems, vendor data, financial data warehouses, Oracle, and product-related information. You are responsible for developing and presenting regular reports and scorecards that evaluate the health of the business and the performance of different products, thereby facilitating a data-driven decision-making process. Additionally, you are required to lead conversations with TIS organization to build and set up data warehouse and data markets for all Sustain data assets. Here are more details about expected responsibilities for this role:

  • Develop and maintain databases, data systems, and data processing procedures to generate reports for Sustain business.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to sustain energy market.
  • Use statistical tools and machine learning models to predict future trends in energy demand and supply.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis and PIRs for various energy projects or initiatives.
  • Create dashboards and visualizations to help partners understand data insights and make informed decisions.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to senior management to help shape the company’s strategies and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with different departments (e.g., operations, finance, marketing) to generate insights and shape reporting frameworks for each area of business.
  • Setting up variety of reporting for each line of Products and help partners on understating performance (financial or operational) or each product.
  • Help assessing effectiveness of marketing campaigns, Sales initiatives and Pricing tactics to better deliver results.
  • Work closely with Finance and provide double click on Financial reports for Sustain income statement and cash flow.
  • Actively participate in target setting process for budgetary purposes as well as sales quotas.

Required:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields.
  • 8 years+ of experience in data environment of Energy sector or in sustainable energy solutions is highly desirable.
  • Strong quantitative skills to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis, forecasting, and modeling techniques.
  • Expertise in data analytics and business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Proficiency in programming languages used for data analysis such as SAS, Python or R.
  • Deep knowledge of database management and SQL.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present findings and make data-driven recommendations to non-technical partners.
  • Ability to create compelling reports and visualizations.
  • Experience in leading and managing a team.
  • Ability to inspire and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with cloud data services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for data storage, processing, and analytics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to navigate complex data challenges and propose effective solutions.

Preferred:

  • An MBA or a master’s degree in a related field can be preferred, as it demonstrates advanced knowledge and analytical skills.
  • Understanding the cost structures of sustainable technologies, government incentives, and the competitive landscape.
