The Government Communication Security Bureau is excited to be developing a fit for purpose Finance function to enable the intelligence community.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
We are looking for a proactive leader who is passionate about developing finance systems and processes to improve finance functionality and data access.
You will be CA qualified and bring a depth of experience and understanding of finance systems and a process improvement bent.
You will be a problem solver who can work strategically, demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to influence direction and build trust.
Public Sector experience will be viewed favourably.
In return, this is an exciting role where you can lift systems capability and drive change.
Responsibilities:
Are you passionate about improving Finance systems and processes? This is an exciting role where you will lead the design and development of the Finance systems, and improve the financial processes, policies, and internal financial controls for the organisation.
This includes identifying and implementing new systems, whilst ensuring the ongoing efficiency of older systems. You will also build the finance systems road map to align with business strategy and to meet future requirements. As well as coaching a high performing team, you will also champion systems utilisation across the business and provide user training.
As a member of the Finance leadership team, you will also contribute to Finance strategy, and foster a collaborative Finance team culture promoting continuous improvement and a customer service focus.
