Manager Tool & Die Engineering-Connect with Oetiker-New Tecumseth, ON (vizirecruiter.com)

Responsible for all procedures, standards, and forms that define global tooling design, maintenance, and improvement.

  • Maintain global design guidelines (materials, heat treatments, coatings, clearances, tolerance fields, etc.)
  • Coordinate global network of tool design responsibilities
  • Define best practices for manufacturing methods
  • Support CAM software/system standardization
  • Maintain Tool Maintenance Work Instructions
  • Define and monitor Key Spare Parts
  • Support tooling issues, implementations, and improvements
  • Support global capital budget planning process
  • Keep up to date on the latest advancements in tooling technology

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree in mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Excellent leadership skills within a matrix organization
  • Ability to identify and solve complex problems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, second language preferred
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of tooling design and manufacturing practices
  • Knowledge of general machining practices (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic)
  • Ability to proficiently use Microsoft productivity software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
  • Ability to travel internationally
  • Ability to work with the highest levels of integrity and compliance
