The Manager Workload Forecasting will serve as the point person for operational processes related to hourly cast staffing and workload including supporting the development of AOP, creating annual staffing plans and hires forecasts, as well as coordinating the project portfolio ensuring alignment on key workload and staffing-related projects.
You will report to the Senior Manager Labor & Cast Experience

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • 3 years of leadership experience
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint and Project)
  • Ability to build and maintain good working relationships with partners, clients, and peers
  • Demonstrated creativity to solve problems in new, innovative ways
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and/or projects simultaneously
  • Resolve conflicts effectively
  • Experience inspiring peers, project team members, and direct reports
  • Proactive, self-motivating, autonomous, take initiative to drive results despite uncertainty
  • Demonstrated exemplary verbal and written communication skills including effective updates and appropriate escalation
  • Ability to translate analytical results into clear, story-based presentations to share with non-technical and technical audiences
  • Ability to handle confidential information

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous Workforce Management or Industrial Engineering experience, especially in Forecasting or Workload
  • Knowledge of Workforce Management processes and tools
  • Experience presenting to senior-level executives
  • Advanced degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, Simulation, or a similar field
  • Project management certification

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, Simulation, or a similar field or equivalent experience

Responsibilities:

  • Sets clear and consistent direction and priorities
  • Sets operational targets; manages performance
  • Collaborates with leadership on strategy, goals and performance
  • Leads AOP strategy and process
  • Monitors workload initiatives, changes, performance
  • Coach and lead team members to resolve issues
  • Sets and maintains project portfolio, high-level timeline, and resource assignments while ensuring initiative alignment
  • Partner with Operations, LOB leaders, Workforce Management, Finance, and Casting to proactively identify and address opportunities to improve labor efficiency, guest service, and forecast accuracy
  • As needed, leads deep dive analyses to validate, troubleshoot, and improve performance
  • Lead global Staffing consolidation process to accurately prioritize staffing resource alignment to business needs through complex trend analyses
