Elephant & Co., the newest venture from Eastern Market Brewing Co., is a PIZZA & BEER company taking over the Greater Detroit area. Your role is instrumental to our flagship location in Detroit, delivering meaningful moments to our customers and community.
If you possess a passion for hand-crafted products, including Detroit-style pizza and Eastern Market Brewing Co. beer, and have a proven track record in managing front-of-house and back-of-house operations, we invite you to lead this new location. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all operations at the Detroit location, including customer experience, culinary, and brewing ensuring great products and an incredible experience.
  • Drive growth through repeat customers by driving customer engagement.
  • Maintain our industry-leading standards for food preparation, presentation, and service to uphold the brand’s commitment to quality and freshness.
  • Collaborate and lead both the culinary and brewing teams to curate an exceptional menu that celebrates the fusion of pizza and craft beer.
  • Analyze financial performance and manage budgets to optimize profitability.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance customer experiences and build brand loyalty.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in hospitality management, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong passion for food and beverage, particularly in the realm of craft beer and artisanal pizzas.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed business targets.
  • Solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving start-up environment.
  • Knowledge of local food and beverage regulations and health standards.
