Position Overview:
We seek a Managing Principal Lawyer to provide expert legal support to the Education & Enforcement Division, focusing on achieving strategic enforcement outcomes. Responsibilities include advising investigators, reviewing evidence, managing prosecutions, and appearing in court.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal support to the Education & Enforcement Division.
  • Review evidence and legal documentation.
  • Manage prosecutions, including negotiation.
  • Appear in court proceedings.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Admitted as an Australian Lawyer.
  • 5+ years post-qualification experience.
  • Front-line prosecutor experience.
  • Multi-disciplinary team experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and file management.

Desired Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of the Victorian justice system.
  • Significant Court advocate experience.
  • Prosecution, investigation, or enforcement environment experience.
