Our Balfour Beatty Highways business has a terrific opportunity for a Managing Quantity Surveyor for our Mottram Moor Link A57 Road highways improvement scheme in Manchester.
What you’ll be doing

As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will be working with the Commercial Team managing all the costs related to the Mottram Moor Link A57 Road highways improvement scheme in Manchester

  • Working collaboratively with the project team, the Client, and our supply chain to deliver the works within time and budget.
  • Commercial management including forecasting and providing input to the monthly CVR, cost and commercial plans.
  • Share accountability, along with the project team for the commercial performance and ensure that commercial processes are adhered to across the project.
  • Ensure that the supply chain is engaged appropriately in line with Balfour Beatty governance and appropriate contract terms and conditions.
  • Effectively assist in managing the commercial team, including cost clerks and commercialsupport staff.
  • Ensure effective interaction between the commercial team and the operational site teamsSupervise and mentor Quantity Surveyors.
