Responsibilities:

The Manager Service Management is a newly created opportunity in our Digital and Technology Team based at our Perth CBD Head Office.
The purpose of this role is to implement the service management strategy through the effective delivery of the IT Service Management program of work and to lead the technology change compliance process. The role includes guiding Leaders, Service Owners and Technical Service Managers to plan, implement, manage and optimise information technology services to meet business objectives and maintain compliance.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Collaborate with Platform Managers, Business Owners, and technology teams to set strategies for IT service delivery that support the strategic needs of the organisation, while overseeing the design, delivery, and improvement of end-to-end ICT services. This includes managing the service catalogue, service level agreements, incident management, problem management, change management, configuration management, release management, and service continuity management.
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to gather feedback on the relevance and effectiveness of service management and guide the Service Management team to update and maintain the service management roadmap (including key upgrades to tools and improvement in processes to drive efficiency and effective governance).
  • Ensures that service delivery and system compliance is monitored effectively and that identified actions to maintain or improve levels of service are implemented.
  • Lead and manage a team of IT Service Management specialists to ensure effective implementation and maintenance of standards, and to deliver and continuously improve their practices.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory and legislative requirements that apply to the provision of technology services and systems.
