TEMPORARY - MANUFACTURING ASSOCIATE II- LASER ENGRAVE & POST PROCESS

SUMMARY

Works within the Controls area to assemble products per specs, drawings and work instructions. Will also work to laser engrave parts, install inserts, and perform post process operations.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing / Assembly role
  • Soldering/Welding
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must be able to read blue prints and/or schematic reading
  • Finger dexterity
  • Use of basic hand tools
  • Basic computer skills
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to verify function of unit per final blueprint
  • Effective communication skills in English with the ability to read, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities:

Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Works assembling connectors per Blue prints and verifying process
  • Setup and run laser engraving machines per blue prints and verify quality
  • Positions parts to be assembled by following blue prints and Standard Work Instructions.
  • Works at station as member of assembly group assembling one or more specific parts to meet production requirements.
  • Positions screws, bolts, or inserts in specific opening and installs them in place.
  • Solders/Welds parts by following schematic, blueprint, and Standard Work Instructions to assemble final unit.
  • Verifies correct assembly of final unit.
  • Ability to test unit with related test fixture.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Supports any other areas as/if required
