Description:

My client is a leading manufacturing business dedicated to delivering high-quality products to their customers. As they continue to grow and expand, they are seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join their team and contribute to the company’s success.
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for the design and optimisation of processes utilised at the business to produce customer goods efficiently and to the required customer specification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Elements of APQP Project management and PPAP support.
  • Customer liaison as required.
  • Study production and machine requirements.
  • Develop and test effective automated and manual systems.
  • Aid with the specification for design of new equipment.
  • Organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resources.
  • Optimize facility layouts, production lines, machine operations and network performance.
  • Resolve issues and delays in production.
  • Ensure that manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulations.
  • Identify and implement CI activity and removal of waste within the business.

Requirements:

  • Capable of producing data driven and analysed solutions.
  • Lean practitioner
  • 8D problem solving.
  • Solid understanding of APQP & PPAP.
  • Good working experience of ERP/MRP systems.
  • Anility to work on multiple projects to agreed deadlines.
