Job Description:
Plan, design, direct and coordinate manufacturing processes in the production area and follow up on them, determine phase capabilities.
BACKGROUND & SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, mechanic or Mechatronic Engineering.
+ 8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering in the same industry field. (automotive or aerospace)
Experience in mechanical processes is required
Conversational English skills required
Experienced in automation process and familiar with PLC programing (desirable)
Proven and solid experience in AutoCAD or CAM (desirable)
Green Belt certification (desirable)
Knowledge in ERP, Oracle (preferred not mandatory) Windows and MS office, JD Edwards, SAP
Bilingual Spanish English is preferrable
Familiarized working in a Unionized

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Ensure process equipment support and tooling are always available for production
Ensure process equipment is into preventive maintenance schedule and verify it complies with measurement standard and it’s effective.
Ensure process support and tooling, and special tools complies with the required standards with the max /min inventory.
Keep record and maintain all drawings, spare parts list and technical information for equipment, tooling, fixtures and special tools
Drives continuous Improvements opportunities to process, tooling and fixtures.
Develop and implement error proofing systems to the equipment assigned.
Implement standardization of standard work and manufacturing best practices.
Participate in the cell team to achieve metrics on High Five metrics.
Support the training in order to develop technicians or operators as required.
Lead customer complains research (8D) and implement corrective action.
MCO / ECO’s / BOM updates
New products – develop the tooling’s or process for new products
Capital Projects.
