We are seeking an experienced hands on Manufacturing Engineer to join our small but growing team. You will be close to the action and have creative freedom.
With a ‘fail fast’ attitude we make decisions and progress quickly. We encourage our team to challenge the status quo and explore ways to improve our outcomes in a calculated manner, producing data to generate insights and acting rapidly on findings.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in medical devices or similar highly regulated environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards related to manufacturing processes.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with process optimization techniques such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for product design analysis.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis tools for process improvement.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engineering trials to test and refine manufacturing processes.
  • Specify and procure equipment necessary for production operations.
  • Critically analyse product designs to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Write clear and concise work instructions to guide manufacturing operations.
  • Develop and write validation protocols, including FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), SAT (Site Acceptance Testing), IQ (Installation Qualification), OQ (Operational Qualification), and PQ (Performance Qualification).
  • Execute validation protocols to validate equipment and processes according to regulatory requirements.
