Ferring+You
You will be responsible to ensure production activities (time, materials, batch records, etc) are carried out according to quality and performance objectives.
You will be responsible to lead Lead and further develop the manufacturing infrastructure (equipment, automation, facility, calibration, maintenance) to support the manufacturing and packaging activities. Transitions new technologies into the production environment.

Your day at Ferring

• Carry out production and packaging processes following the defined procedures and GMP rules and practices. Secure that all steps are well documented and reviewed. Batch record review, deviations, changes, CAPA.
• Carry out batch change over activities, line-clearances, reconciliations, line-cleanings and disinfection routines.
• Carry-out projects related to introduction of new products or equipment. Further develop existing products and equipment (pilot manufacturing, robustness, optimization, packaging), including writing and reviewing of SOPs, test protocols and reports related to these projects.
• Know, read / follow and apply the Production, Quality and Safety procedures. Communicate deviations without delay. Carry out investigations.
• Carry out maintenance, calibration, qualification and validation activities within the production and packaging department. Procurement of spare parts and consumables.
• Communicate the Health, Safety and Environment Policy and support an organization of the department in line with HSE Policy (Waste selective improvement, energy and water consumption, ergonomics at workplace, HSE event and near miss records). Respect and lead the respect of these HSE rules.
• Support and carry out continuous improvement activities within the department.
• Creation of working instructions and SOPs.
• Support the training of new employees

• Degree in engineering, chemistry, pharmacy or related field
• 2-3 years’ experience in production operations and with strong engineering skills
• Experience in relevant GMP subjects
• Experience in project management
• Knowledge in regulatory Health Authority inspections, safety requirements
• Fluency in English
• Ability to work in aseptic areas (controlled environment) following strict hygienic rules
• Handling of pharmaceutical raw materials and/or high potent hazardous substances
• Handling /operation/maintenance of manufacturing equipment
• Able to work with computerized systems (PC, PLC) and related software applications
• Motivated to participate in basic and advanced training
