Manufacturing Engineer

• Responsible to improve the manufacturing operations through lean initiatives and implementing innovative manufacturing ideas and concepts.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency through analysis and workflow planning.
• Reduce scrap through root cause analysis.
• Listen and work with the operators and maintenance.
• Assisting the Controls Engineer.
• Program camera’s and PLC’s
• Improve set-up time reduction.
• Create and verify Poke-Yoke.
• Creation and update of Work Instruction.
• Complete Line layouts.
• Establish Standardized Work Instructions.
• Ensure proper WIP / Component presentation to the operators
• Troubleshoot machine faults.
• Take corrective actions and assist with the repair of machines
• Train operators / maintenance
• PFMEA creation and update
• Cognex and Keyence Camera operation - train others and perform updates.
• Control of processes through - process set up sheets and verification of processes running properly
• Complete DOE’s
• Actively particate in 8D process to improve operations.
• Follow organization standards
• Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and scheduling
• Read schematics / blue prints
• Follow and apply GD&T principles and manufacturing processes.
  Position Requirements
  Entry level to 3 years
  Demonstrate excellent written, oral and math skills
  Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Email, etc.)
  CAD – AutoCAD, SolidWorks, a plu
