Responsibilities:
The Semiconductor Infrastructure Solutions team in Santa Clara, CA is a high growth business looking for an experienced manufacturing engineer who is passionate about bringing new system and platform capability to a growing business.
Reporting directly to the manager of Digital Transformation, this person will engage with the operations teams and manufacturing engineers to select, implement, and enable a world class Manufacturing Execution System (MES). They will partner with a project team and the operations teams to build requirements and deliver the functionality needed to propel the facility toward business growth. With many types of production lines, component and assembly, the work will be varied and exciting with challenging problems to solve along the way.
This person will own resource and spec setting in the MES. They will partner with data owners for Advanced Planning & Scheduling to ensure proper Shop Floor Data Collection (SFDC). They will work with R&D and Manufacturing Engineering teams to develop and implement electronic work instructions. They will also partner with Planning and Ops to ensure smooth job release practices and world-class local data management.
This person will interface with multiple functions along the full spectrum of product design through ship to customers. You’ll be working in a factory where we develop our complete vertical supply chain of parts on site. From glass cutting and polishing to final assembly of the finished product, this is a true “dirt to dollars” operation. Help us meet our customer commitments efficiently and profitably into the future!
Workload management, complete documentation, and excellent communication skills are a must in this role.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering
  • Or a degree in Operations Research/Management
  • Or another degree with applicable experience
  • Experience with Siemens Opcenter applications, or equivalent
  • Experience with Oracle ERP and Oracle Discrete Manufacturing
  • Experience with modern PLM platforms, like Dassault 3DX or Siemens Team Center
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience interfacing with consulting partners and vendors desired
