POSITION SUMMARY:

Manufacturing Engineers focus on how to get the work done most efficiently, balancing many factors—such as time, number of workers needed, available technology, actions workers need to take, achieving the end product with no errors, workers’ safety, environmental concerns, and cost. To find ways to reduce waste and improve performance of the current production contracts and upcoming contracts. Perform failure mode and effects analysis, implement corrective actions, preventive actions and be completely production uptime focused. Manufacturing Engineerings must be “continual improvement & cost savings” minded….understanding Safety First!

  • Support the manufacturing operation.
  • Lean Manufacturing Techniques and Methods (Value Stream Mapping, etc.) Planned Results! Time and Motion Studies, Design of Experiments, etc. These items are to be applied to the production / manufacturing process to improve it. HANDS-ON!
  • Cost Estimating, Payback, Cost Impacts, Cost Analysis, etc.
  • Project Engineer, must be able to take a project from inception to production, on-time to budget.
  • Technical Writing, must be able to generate work instruction, maintenance instruction, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

AND THESE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Ind Tech, Ind Eng, Mech, Electric, Manufacturing, etc.)
  • 5+ years in manufacturing.
  • A Plus: PLC’s, Robotic Programming, DOE, Project Management, ISO Auditor).
    In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $72,720- $109,080. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
