Job Description
Are you mechanically savvy and passionate about contributing to an efficient production environment? We are seeking a skilled production operator to join our team! Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our paver and block equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate production equipment with precision to fulfill production requirements while upholding the highest quality standards.
  • Execute equipment set-up procedures and perform preventative maintenance to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Utilize a variety of tools and measuring devices to maintain, adjust, and repair machinery as needed.
  • Prepare accurate daily reports to track production metrics and equipment performance.
  • Expertly dismantle and reassemble heavy plant components using hoists and hand tools.
  • Proactively identify and communicate any product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
  • Adhere strictly to established policies, procedures, and safety regulations to uphold a secure work environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workplace to ensure a safe and efficient operational space.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines to prioritize safety at all times.
  • Help guide a team of general laborers and dryline operators, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise with 5+ years of experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Proven mechanical aptitude, showcasing your ability to understand and troubleshoot complex machinery.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and convey information clearly.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to work autonomously and take proactive initiatives to enhance productivity.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed to meet production demands and deadlines.
  • Possess flexibility, adaptability, and strong organizational skills to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
