We currently have an exciting full-time opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Manager to join our team. Representing Supply Chain on the Bluebird Leadership Team, this position leads all Manufacturing activities at our NZ manufacturing facility in Wiri. The activities and imperatives range across Health & Safety, Quality, Environmental, Cost, Service, Technical & People. This role will see you provide both functional and business leadership to enable NZ Snacks to deliver on Annual Operating Plan objectives and provide guidance to the strategic development plans.
Responsibilities:

• Ensure production meets sales targets and objectives including Case Fill, Daily Attainment, and Days Cover.
• Attain key Safety metrics including LTIFR, Injury rates, and management of all workplace safety programs
• Achieve Quality metrics like Consumer Complaints and AIBI improvements for product quality enhancement.
• Meet Cost metrics covering MOH, COGs, and minimize downtime for cost-effectiveness.
• Address People metrics including absence, and Organizational Health improvements for employee well-being and effectivness
• Lead initiatives to enhance employee capability and support cross-functional business initiatives.
• Maintain alignment with company strategic focus, demonstrate commitment to health, safety, welfare, and environmental sustainability.
