Description:

DESCRIPTION DU POSTE

  • To define, implement and support appropriate production methods, for the manufacturing of complex landing gear components. Document manufacturing and sub assembly plans or layouts, construct 3D stage models for each operation, produce detailed stage drawings and other associated documentation for each operation, with adherence to internal and customer procedures and specifications.
  • Improve manufacturing processes and methods to meet cost reduction and quality improvement targets
  • Lead problem solving and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) initiatives using various techniques such as Ishikawa, 5 Whys, etc.
  • Work with Design team to evaluate the manufacturability and assembly of the design of products and provide recommendations for DFMA
  • Provide day to day manufacturing support for all components manufactured in the machine shop
  • Manage Industrialization Projects of new product introduction from Pilot batches to Full production Ramp up.
  • Provide detailed rework instructions for parts not meeting production quality requirements.
  • Update shop work orders as required to facilitate additional rework operations, alternate work centers and scheduling requirements for special processes.
  • To provide appropriate tooling design guidelines, select and design/purchase appropriate Fixtures and tooling.
  • To research and implement new products and technologies to the manufacturing environment to improve manufacturing methods and processes.
  • To liaise between Engineering, Estimating, Finance, Manufacturing and Quality.
  • Perform PFMEA on new products and critical Manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor and Implement engineering changes in a timely manner to production
  • Solve complex manufacturing problems and implement robust solutions to meet quality, cost and delivery objectives.
  • Manage production data in Manufacturing Engineering Data System (MEDS) and ERP system (SAP)
