POSITION: Manufacturing Operator (13 Vacancies)
TYPE: Term Position (1 year)
DEPARTMENT: Production
VACANCIES: 9 Rotation; 4 Sunrise
SHIFT: Rotation (Mon – Fri: two weeks 7:30 am - 4:00 pm; two weeks 3:30 pm - 12:00 am)
Sunrise (Sun – Thu: 11:30 pm – 8:00 am)
Reporting to a Manufacturing Supervisor, you are responsible for the completion of all Manufacturing processes, accuracy of corresponding documentation, and strict adherence to established standard operating procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education - Completion of Grade 12 diploma or equivalent. Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Certificate preferred
Knowledge/Experience - Working knowledge of the associated regulations that govern the pharmaceutical industry is an asset. Previous manufacturing experience is an asset.
Competencies - Ability to meet physical demands such as twisting, lifting, bending. Good English verbal, reading and writing skills with a proven ability to follow precise guidelines. Basic mathematical & mechanical skills. Self-motivated, positive attitude, attention to detail and a team player. Shift work is required.
Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing tablets and capsules, dispensing product, equipment operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and cleaning.
- Ensure accuracy of corresponding documentation and strict adherence to established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environment.
