QUALIFICATION

  • Minimum secondary level
  • NTC in engineering related fields

EXPERIENCE

  • Min 5 years related hands-on production/processing experience, preferably in wafer fabrication production/photolithography environment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Able to perform simple mathematical calculations
  • Able to write legibly and with attention to details
  • Must be meticulous in operating the machines
  • Able to perform 12 hours rotating shift
  • No color-blindness
  • Good team player

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure work performed adhere to ISO 13485:2003 and 21- CFR – 820 requirements. Non-compliance to operational procedures by MAs are to be reported to MEs immediately.
  • Perform routine and repetitious work within narrowly defined parameters. Operate on the equipments and maintain good housekeeping practices in the clean-room environment.
  • Cultivate good working habits and inform the Technical Specialist of any problem encountered with the tool or product. Inform MEs immediately in the event of high tool down time/defects.
  • Perform work safely and conduct housekeeping at all times. Report any unsafe act/environment to Team Leader immediately.
  • Feedback to the Team Leaders of any inappropriate behavior or habits in the manufacturing line.
  • Report/update Manufacturing Assistant (MA) attendance/punctuality to Manufacturing Engineers (MEs) at the start of shift.
  • Ensure daily work orders are started as stipulated in the loading plans. Plan WIP flow downstream based on first-in-first-out (FIFO).
  • Perform inventory check and update inventory checklist at start of shift. Ensure adequate raw materials to support daily production needs and trigger for material replenishment when needed.
  • Be on-site for any line mis-operations and understand the issue with the MEs.
  • Report line performance (chip out, rejects, WIP move) at the end of shift by processes.
  • May be tasked to train new employees on the manufacturing processes.
