POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for experienced Manufacturing Process Engineers who are seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever-changing work environment!
The Manufacturing Process Engineer analyzes the current manufacturing processes to define current state (what it is,) future state (what it should be,) and what changes are needed in the tools and work instructions to correct quality issues, reduce process cycle times, improve ergonomics and safety, and ensure process control.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Manufacturing Engineering or related field; a combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of education
- 7+ years of experience in a similar role
- The ability to read and speak English proficiently is required in order to perform the job
- Experience in large airframe structures, Determinate Assembly (DA) requirements and techniques, assembly tool methods, and manufacturing techniques, is required
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications with training in GD&T Level 1, is required
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Ability to convey complex information in a way that people understand
- Proven experience with ERP and PLM systems, i.e., SAP, Oracle, Teamcenter, Enovia, etc.
- Experience with 3D CAD systems such as CATIA V5/ V6, UGNX, ProE, etc.

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the sequence of fabrication, assembly, and installation of the product for the assigned area(s) focusing on cycle times, quality, ergonomics, and process control
- Seeks optimized sequence of operations and manpower efficiencies to reduce overall cycle time while improving quality
- Support the creation of PFMEAs in assigned area(s), as required
- Ensures manufacturing processes comply with regulations, drawings, and specifications
- May develop tool design concepts for new tooling, tooling improvements, and tool maintenance.
- May create work instructions and/ or Tool Usage Instructions
