Description:
As a Manufacturing Scientist III, you will lead and/or complete activities for the development of new and established manufacturing processes of solids, liquids, and semi-solid dosage forms.
Location: Our Cincinnati site is a Center of Excellence for specialized oral solid dose manufacturing and drug development within our Pharma Services Group.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Engineering or related physical science and/or Master’s Degree of Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or related physical science.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- 6 years of scientific experience preferred, including 4 years in a related life science field.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Strong understanding of Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices and Safety guidelines.
- Ability to formulate statistics in support data or findings when vital for Quality investigations.
- Ability to integrate risk-based approach during the development process and have the appropriate response to the mitigation strategy.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical processes, equipment, instrumentation, and procedures.
- Solid understanding of the selection of the individual excipients and the dosage form to support clinical purpose.
- Knowledge of FDA requirements related to proven oral dosage form development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
