Responsible for Site Operations, C-130 Production Operations, and property management at Clarksburg, West Virginia. This position operates to fully support company and program level commitments, both internal and external, for safety, quality, cost, schedule and delivery performance.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Managing more than one functional area of manufacturing, such as machining, assembly, tool and die, &/or packaging.
  • Experience coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, &/or recognition/disciplinary actions.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience leading or managing in satellite or

feeder plant type locations and with demonstrated performance of Safety, Quality, Cost, and Schedule.

  • Demonstrated experience with aircraft assembly, preferably C130.
  • Strong business acumen and demonstrated use of business data.
  • Ability to deliver results with independent initiative.
  • Ability to form creative partnerships to improve

execution and competitive performance.

  • Ability to manage, coach, train and motivate

team in technical and leadership development.

  • Strong presentation skills and ability to address

complex matter / solutions with senior

leadership.

  • Ability to communicate with all levels to include

internal and external customers.

  • Track record of successful product delivery to

customers/clients.

  • Experience implementing advanced

manufacturing automation.

  • Green Belt or Black Belt Certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating strategic direction and executing tactical decisions directly impacting the workforce of production operations for program and functional tasks in Clarksburg.
  • Responsible for ensuring high performance of Clarksburg deliverables to C-130 Assembly, Flight Ops, and Customer Delivery.
  • Directly and indirectly manages multiple subordinate leaders and individual contributors covering all manufacturing disciplines within Clarksburg and other duties to include serving as the primary representative of Lockheed Martin to the local community and state government entities in community relations roles.
  • This position is accountable for establishing and maintaining supportive and effective relations with C-130 Build Team leaders in Marietta, Clarksburg, Johnstown, and Pinellas.
  • Direct the implementation of capital investments, such as manufacturing automation, to decrease cost at the Clarksburg site.
  • Provide daily direction to multi-disciplined organizational team consisting of Operations Quality Assurance, Supply Chain Management, Configuration Management, Engineering, HR, and Safety, including staffing and tools required for successful program execution.
  • Develop organizational capability, succession plans, and growth paths for employees.
