Manufacturing Team Leader

Main duties of this role will be to assist the Manufacturing Manager with the day to day management of the production team, to ensure targets and objectives are being met, ensuring that Health & Safety and SOP’s are being complied to.

• You will lead by example, ensuring KPI’s are monitored and targets achieved.
• To deal with any issues as they arise during production, communicating with the teams, delivering shift briefs, focusing on quality, cost and delivery.
• You will be required to drive performance, giving direction and feedback to aid good performance
• You will motivate your team to create a high performance culture and encourage improvement suggestions.
• Supporting the implementation of engineering changes, production trials and report any plant or machinery breakdowns.

Candidates suited to this role need to have worked in a similar role for a minimum of 3 years previously, being able to motivate your team, setting objectives and have a full understanding of design and production costs, to include downtime, waste and re-work.
