ABOUT THE ROLE

• With general supervisory direction, assist Manufacturing engineers/teams in the development of products, processes and equipment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Demonstrates a commitment to patient safety and product quality
• Provides floor support for new product builds (e.g., troubleshoots equipment and manufacturing engineering problems)
• Collects data and performs basic statistical analysis for process characterization, Cpk, and scrap reduction goals.
• Coordinates process change (VIP, revalidation) builds, including procurement of needed components and ensuring proper documentations is followed.
• Supports equipment/fixture development from simple production aids to full automation.
• Executes and documents equipment qualifications (plans, builds, and reports).
• Assists in writing new detailed processes and implementing changes to existing documentation.
• Performs DOE/process characterization builds on production line.
• Interfaces with other departments to obtain/deliver materials and information.
• Generates new ideas for improving processes.
• Trains production trainers/operators/manufacturing technicians on new processes.
