Du Pont (U.K.) Industrial Limited, Maydown, Derry / Londonderry, where the globally recognised Kevlar® yarn is manufactured, is seeking new talent. Vacancies exist for skilled Manufacturing Technicians working a 24/7 rotating shift pattern (13 x 12-hour shifts per 4-weekly cycle).
Starting salary, including shift allowance, is £34,432, with scope to reach £50,000+ reflecting progress through manufacturing grade structure, following training & development. Scope exists to start employment on a higher salary & grade, subject to evidence of relevant chemical operating skills & experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complying rigorously with Safety, Health & Environmental standards, and procedures
• Operating and managing a wide range of spinning equipment and technology
• Using computer-based control systems to maintain the operation within set specifications
• Analysing information, identifying deviations, and determining appropriate corrective action
• Working as part of a self-managing team focusing on continuous improvement activities
