Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is currently looking for a Manufacturing Technology Analyst – 2nd Shift to join team located in Berkeley, MO. The successful candidate will be a liaison between our engineering and design requirements and the mechanics that are responsible for assembling our product.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 4+ years of experience working in a production and/or manufacturing environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 5+ years of experience working in a production and/or manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
  • Be flexible & adaptable in a diverse & demanding environment and work schedule.
  • Be able to interact positively with people throughout Boeing & the customer base.
    Typical Education/Experience:
    Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years’ related work experience, 10 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes data to make recommendations on projects requiring manufacturing engineering practices.
  • Manages projects using approved project management techniques.
  • Coordinates improvements in engineering designs, manufacturing processes. Creates or approves supporting processes and related documentation.
  • Assists with consultation and training on procedures and processes related to engineering and production.
  • Participates on product development teams and identifies producibility issues to maximize efficiency.
  • Performs feasibility studies in support of product development.
  • Performs technical and administrative activities to meet regulatory, production and process requirements in support of the manufacturing plan.
  • Communicates with internal/external stakeholders to ensure products and services compliance.
  • Works under general direction.
