Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is currently looking for a Manufacturing Technology Analyst – 2nd Shift to join team located in Berkeley, MO. The successful candidate will be a liaison between our engineering and design requirements and the mechanics that are responsible for assembling our product.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- 4+ years of experience working in a production and/or manufacturing environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 5+ years of experience working in a production and/or manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
- Be flexible & adaptable in a diverse & demanding environment and work schedule.
- Be able to interact positively with people throughout Boeing & the customer base.
Typical Education/Experience:
Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years’ related work experience, 10 years’ related work experience, etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Analyzes data to make recommendations on projects requiring manufacturing engineering practices.
- Manages projects using approved project management techniques.
- Coordinates improvements in engineering designs, manufacturing processes. Creates or approves supporting processes and related documentation.
- Assists with consultation and training on procedures and processes related to engineering and production.
- Participates on product development teams and identifies producibility issues to maximize efficiency.
- Performs feasibility studies in support of product development.
- Performs technical and administrative activities to meet regulatory, production and process requirements in support of the manufacturing plan.
- Communicates with internal/external stakeholders to ensure products and services compliance.
- Works under general direction.
