Description:
KEY OUTPUT
- Install and drive a culture of zero harm align to site’s standard, BWE standards and our principal CAT.
- Lead and oversee implementation and maintenance of equipment management processes and associated risk for Barloworld Equipment and our customers in the MARC section.
- Lead and oversee achievement of a team environment that enables maximum productivity and profitability in the MARC section (includes management of HR value chain)
- Ongoing review of MARC section performance and taking remedial steps where and when required.
- Lead and oversee effective management of safety, health, environment, and quality risks in the MARC section.
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES
- B. Engineering (Mechanical Engineer) or Grade 12 with formal artisan qualification
- 5 to 7 years of previous track record as a MARC/Fleet Maintenance Manager L1 or MARC Supervisor and demonstrated skills in business development, financial management and leading/managing people in a team based and participative environment.
- Track record in leading/managing people in a team based and participative environment (experience in managing Service or MARC operations in a supervisor role critical)
- Sound business and financial acumen
- Exposure to business planning / budgeting processes
- Sound HR & IR skills. Conflict Management
- Sound knowledge of Minerals Act (with sound knowledge of safety rules and regulations)
- Sound business communication and presentation skills
- Sound PC Knowledge (Microsoft Office)
- Good interpersonal skills to develop internal and external customer relations.
- Sound Equipment Management skills and knowledge
- Plan, lead, organize and control.
- Networking with the other support teams in the region (Parts, Service etc) to support the MARC section
