Operations, maintenance, and Marine activities will be executed with a ‘one team’ mentality.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Marine Experience is required.
  • Emergency Response Team Leader experience.
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely within your team and act as an HSSE leader as part of the platform leadership team.
  • Act as the hose management Focal Point for the Facility
  • Be a part of a high performing team delivering Asset Integrity, work scopes as per plan.
  • Act as the lead for all Mechanical Vendor scope
  • Using your team and own experience ensure work orders are prepared and ready for execution.
  • Be the discipline focal point on the platform covering all mechanical requirements (Rotating and Static)
  • Implement the concept of Work Process Management and the application of Asset Management SystemProcesses to support the successful readiness and execution of planned and corrective activities.
  • Monitor the quality of work being executed and completed by the Mechanical team and all/any Vendors
  • Use the 5 Why process, ensuring thorough investigations to ensure no repeat incidents.
  • Improve and sustain best-in-class rotating equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Be a leader in the creation, risk assessment, and ensure management of change is documented correctly and implemented for your discipline, liaising with Onshore Discipline engineers where required.
  • Establish a Continuous improvement mindset within the team – identify and drive improvement opportunities,.
  • Embed & sustain a seafaring mentality across the Asset “Everyone cares for people & equipment” identify and drive improvement opportunities.
  • Manage PSV/RV recertification with support from the RV focal point onshore.
  • Own the facility hose register & drive the onshore team to schedule inspections & deliver replacements in sufficient time to minimise the number of overdue or unsatisfactory hoses.
  • Ensure LAFD compliance for Mechanical PM/CMs. Apply Z6/deviation process where necessary for scopes within the two-week window.

Responsibilities:

WHAT’S THE ROLE?

As the Mechanical Supervisor you’ll deliver and lead Mechanical maintenance execution through direct on-the-job supervision. You will have the core process knowledge to sustain the Asset’s Technical Integrity and reliability/availability in accordance with Shell’s best practices and HSSE standards to meet business targets. The Mechanical Supervisor is accountable for leading mechanical maintenance execution through direct on-the-job supervision of their teams by providing the processes, knowledge, and enthusiasm to sustain world-class maintenance execution. The SSM has the responsibility for the execution of all mechanical maintenance activities in line with the planned schedule. The person in this role manages an execution team to sustain and restore the Asset’s Technical Integrity and Reliability/Availability in accordance with the best practices and HSSE standards to meet business targets. The SSM will be directed / coordinated daily by the Operations and Maintenance Co-ordinator who acts as the focal point for Planned Maintenance Execution
