MARINE QHSE MANAGER

Marine QHSE Manager is responsible to Marine/Safety Director for ensuring that Company’s fleet of vessels is operated in accordance with Company procedures, SIRE-VIQ/CDI, PSC, Flag state and client’s requirements.

• Responsibilities

1. Monitor the vessel movements daily.
2. Supervise operations and monitor vessel condition and ship’s staff compliance with management policies, international, state, or local Maritime regulations.
3. Responsible for all technical and operational related issues, including correspondence. You will be directly responsible for ensuring all procedures are adhered to and comply with International safety management (ISM), classification society rules, and Maritime insurance.
4. Supervise vessels from an engineering aspect but you will be mainly office based.
5. Carry out security assessments as required by DPA/CSO.
6. Issue necessary QHSE Alerts and Bulletins to ships.
7. Analyze reports, such as SIRE/CDI, Flag state, PSC, External audits, and other such reports.
8. Initiate necessary action for timely closure as per advice of Marine/Safety Director.
9. Implement training agenda and training for officers and crew.
10. Review and respond to safety and other reports received from the vessel.
    Qualification：
11. Holding Class 1 COC.
12. Experience of 3 years as a Master on LPG tanker.
13. Experience of 2 years or more as a Marine Manager of a reputed Ship Management or Ship Owning Tanker company.
14. Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 & OHSAS 18001 and MLC 2006.
15. Bachelor’s degree or above.
16. Good IT skills, be skilled in MS Office software package.
17. Fluent in English - oral and written, Chinese language is preferred
